Teak logs

We supply the premium commodity teak as logs globally. The wood comes from sustainable plantations in Costa Rica. 

Teak logs are offered in various lengths and girths, fitting your customized demands. Two classes of length are supplied: 2.4 to 4.99 meters (approx. 8 to 16 feet) and 5 to 12 meters (approx. 16 to 39 feet). On request young logs from thinnings are available, too. 

The international sales activities are handled by company 'Teak Holz Handels- und Verarbeitungs GmbH', a 100% subsidiary of THI AG, based in Linz, Austria. Traders, wholesalers and wood processors are supplied with teak logs from responsibly cultivated plantations in Costa Rica.

Our personnel is shipping containers ex Costa Rica globally to you. Main markets for teak logs are located in South-east Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Teak wood has long been known and in demand in the furniture industry and in shipbuilding. In addition, teakwood and teak products have also conquered other fields in the last decades. It is popular in many fields of application thanks to its low susceptibility to humidity and resulting weather resistance. Examples include garden decking, swimming pool frames, etc.
